Antique reclaimed French oak floorboards, provenance from an 18th century public building. Surfaces have been brushed to reveal their exceptionally rich patinas, and the undersides have been re-sawn straight. Most are oak, but some boards are in antique chestnut, of similar appearance to oak and which enhance their rustic historic authenticity. They are particularly thick, so would also be ideal for table tops, plank doors, window seats, etc. Approximate dimensions: Lengths from 1m to 2.5 metres. Widths from 200mm to 270mm. Thickness 35mm to 40mm.
